Placement under a common hood shared with other appliances may be prohibited. Southern Pride recommends a minimum 18 inch (457 mm) overhang on the product loading door side of the smoker. Exhaust fan size must be determined by a ventilation contractor specifically for your application. Hood dimensions, exhaust duct length and routing all factor into the calculation.
