Player. With this slim design progressive scan DVD player, connect to your
television for viewing of the most popular disc formats: DVD,CD-R/CD-RW,
DVD+R/RW, HDCD, JPEG or Kodak Picture CD. Use the full function remote
control to play, pause, stop, fast forward and rewind, plus an array of other
features.
Note: MVD2501 is not compatible with Blue Ray
formatted discs.

1. Remove the Battery Compartment cover
by pushing in on the tab and then lifting the
cover off.
2. Install two (2) "AAA" batteries, paying
attention to the polarity diagram in the battery
compartment.
3. Replace the Battery Compartment cover.
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
Follow these precautions when using batteries in this device:
1. Warning – Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
2. Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
3. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment. A reversed
battery may cause damage to the device.
4. Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline, Rechargeable and Carbon-zinc) or old batteries with fresh
ones.
5. If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible
battery leakage.
6. Do not try to recharge a battery not intended to be recharged; it can overheat and rupture. (Follow battery manufacturer's
directions.)
7. Remove batteries promptly if consumed.
8. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.

SETTING UP THE MEMOREX MVD2501
AC CONNECTION
Insert the AC plug (with 2 blades) into a
conveniently located AC outlet rated at
120 V ~ 60Hz.
NOTE: The AC plug supplied with the unit is
polarized to help minimize the possibility of
electric shock. If the AC plug does not fit into a
non-polarized AC outlet, do not file or cut the
wide blade. It is the user's responsibility to have
an electrician replace the obsolete outlet.

REMOTE CONTROL OPERATIONAL RANGE
Point the remote control at the DVD player no more than 15 feet from the remote
control sensor and within and angle of 60°. The operating distance may vary
depending on the brightness of the room.

HOW TO USE THE MEMOREX MVD2501
BASIC OPERATION
The following operation is similar regardless of the type of disc used. For specific
instructions on how to use each disc type, see below and the other side of this guide.
