Kindle is in the ON position. Next, check the wireless
signal strength by going to the Home screen menu,
and selecting "Settings." You need at least one bar of
signal strength to establish a wireless connection.

Resetting Your Kindle

Q: My Kindle isn't responding when I press the keys or
buttons. What should I do?
A: Resetting your Kindle will resolve most problems of
this sort. Remove the back cover, and use a paper clip
or another small object to press the Reset button.
