MIDI Settings

In this section, you can make MIDI-related settings for the instrument. This instrument gives you a set of ten pre-
programmed templates that let you instantly and easily reconfigure the instrument to match your particular MIDI
application or external device. Also, you can edit the pre-programmed templates and save up to ten of your original
templates.
NOTE
No MIDI signals are received in the Piano Room.

Touch the box (shown above), then select a pre-programmed MIDI template (below).
If you have already created an original MIDI template and saved it to User memory (in steps 2 and 3 below), you can
also select that template from User memory.

If desired, edit the MIDI parameters based on the MIDI template selected in step 1 in the
relevant setting display.
System:
Lets you set the MIDI System related
Transmit:
Lets you set the MIDI Transmission related parameters.
Receive:
Lets you set the MIDI Reception related parameters.
On Bass Note:
Lets you select the MIDI channels of which the MIDI data coming from the external MIDI
device will be used for detecting the bass note for Style playback.
Chord Detect:
Lets you select the MIDI channels of which the MIDI data coming from the external MIDI
device will be used for detecting the chord type for Style

When you've finished editing in each display, touch
your original MIDI Template.
Your original MIDI templates can be saved as a single file to a USB flash drive. On the display called up via [Menu] 

[Utility]  [Factory Reset/Backup]  page 2/2, touch [Backup] of "MIDI" to execute the Save operation

Transmits all parts including the keyboard parts (Main, Layer and Left), with the
exception of Song parts.
Basically the same as "All Parts" with the exception of how keyboard parts are managed.
The right-hand parts are handled as "Upper" instead of Main and Layer, and the left-hand
part is handled as "Lower. "
