DDNS

The Dynamic DNS feature allows you to host a server (Web, FTP, Game Server, etc.) using a domain name that you have purchased

(www.whateveryournameis.com) with your dynamically assigned IP address. Most broadband Internet Service Providers assign dynamic (changing)

IP addresses. When you use a Dynamic DNS service provider, your friends can enter your host name to connect to your server, no matter what

your IP address is.

To access the DDNS setting window, click on the DDNS button under the ADVANCED tab.

DDNS CONFIGURATION

Click the Add button to set DDNS setting.

Select DDNS Service provider from the D-DNS provider

drop-down menu and enter your account data.

After configure the DDNS settings as desired, click on the

Apply Settings button to apply settings.

D-DNS provider:

Select one of the DDNS registration organizations form those

listed in the pull-down menu. Available servers include

DynDns.org and dlinkddns.

Enter the complete Host Name that you registered

Host Name:

to your DDNS service provider.

Enter the Username for your DDNS

Username:

account.

Enter the Password for your DDNS account

Password:
