11.1 Error messages – Reports (KX-MB772 only)
If a problem occurs during fax transmission or reception, one of the following messages will be printed on the sending
and journal reports (page 36).

L If feature #442 is set to "ALWAYS" (page 60), check
the connection between the computer and the unit.

L The document was not fed into the unit properly. Re-
insert it and try again.

L The other party's fax machine is busy or has run out
of recording paper. Try again.
L The other party's fax machine rings too many times.
Send the fax manually (page 36).
L The other party's machine is not a fax machine.
Check with the other party.
L The number you dialled is not in service.

L {STOP} was pressed and fax communication was
cancelled.

L The top cover was opened. Close it and try again.
