Freedom™ Par Hex-4 has an auto-ranging power supply that works with a voltage
AC Power
range of 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
Power Linking
Power linking is when products are daisy chained together through their Power In
and Power Out sockets, so that many products can be powered from one outlet.
For the maximum number of Freedom™ Par Hex-4s that can be power linked at
120 V or at 240 V, see the User Manual or the label on the product.

Fuse Replacement

1. Disconnect the product from power.
2. Wedge the tip of a flat-head screwdriver into the slot of the fuse holder.
3. Pry the safety cap out of the housing.
4. Remove the blown fuse from the clip on the front of the safety cap and
replace with a fuse of the exact same type and rating.
5. Re-insert the fuse holder and reconnect power.
Disconnect the product from power before replacing the fuse.
Battery Power
The Freedom™ Par Hex-4 comes with a rechargeable lithium battery for cable-
free operation.
Charging the
The battery charges whenever the product is plugged into a power source. If the
product is plugged in and not in operation, make sure the On/Off switch is in the

Off position.
For optimal battery life, charge the Freedom™ Par Hex-4 battery for 24
hours prior to initial use.
Battery Life
The battery life indicators are the 4 small green LEDs on either side of the
<D-Fi™ AUTO Sync/Clear> button. The indicators show how much battery life

Battery Run Time

The Freedom™ Par Hex-4 has a limiter option that decreases the power output
and extends battery life when more than 4 colors are turned on. This option is set
in the control panel. The battery times listed below assume that the limiter option
is enabled.
