Perform the
preparation for disassembly

Remove the hood
from system
Disconnect power cable
board.
Remove the screw on the rear of the
chassis at the top of the fan grid.
End of sequence.
Separate the fan from the chassis
by depressing the four tabs on the
fan at the rear of the computer.
Disconnect the (P4) from the
fan cable
system board.
To replace the fan, reverse the
removal procedure.
