Installing the Editor Librarian software

System requirements

■ Windows
Computer
A computer with a USB port (we recommend a USB chipset made by Intel Cor-
poration), that satisfies the requirements of Microsoft Windows XP
Operating system
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition or Professional, Service Pack 1 or later
■ Macintosh
Computer
An Apple Macintosh with a USB port that satisfies the requirements of Mac OS X
Operating system
Mac OS X version 10.2 or later (version 10.3 is supported)

Windows XP users

To install the software into Windows XP, proceed as follows.

Insert the included CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.

In the Editor Librarian software "KONTROL49" folder of the CD-ROM, double-
click "setup_e.exe" to start up the installer.

The KONTROL49 Editor Librarian Installer screen will appear. Click [Next>].

The "License Agreement" will be displayed. Carefully read the agreement, and
if you accept the terms, check [I accept the terms of the license agreement] and
then click [Next>].

Input your user data and click [Next>].

Choose the installation destination. The screen will show the default installa-
tion folder. If you want to change this, click [Change] and select the desired
location.
Click [Next>] to begin the installation.

When installation is completed, click [Finish].
