Close the tank shutoff valve and connect the Reverse
Osmosis faucet product water tubing directly to the
tank shutoff valve, isolating the carbon postfilter.

Open the tank shutoff valve and the water supply
to the Reverse Osmosis system. Open the Reverse
Osmosis faucet, locking the lever upward against the
spout.

Allow water to circulate through the system until all
bleach odor is gone.
Turn off the water supply to the Reverse Osmosis

system. Close the Reverse Osmosis faucet AFTER
water flow stops.
Reconnect the postfilter (replace a used filter) to the

Reverse Osmosis system.
a. Do steps two and three.

b. Replace the Reverse Osmosis cartridge and
prefilter cartridge (BE SURE YOU HAVE CLEANED YOUR
HANDS WITH ANTI-BACTERIAL SOAP) .
c. Do step six.
d. Repeat the purging process. See the Purging the
Reverse Osmosis system section.
