Searching by Recording Information
Set the recording/playback switch to
the playback [ Q ].
You can perform category playback by
classifying pictures according to the
recording information such as scene mode
([PORTRAIT], [SCENERY], etc.).
1 Press [MENU/SET] and press q.
2 Select [ CATEGORY PLAY]
with e/r and then press [MENU/
SET].

FAVORITE PLAY

• Category search starts.
• If a picture is found in a category, the
category icon turns blue.
• The more pictures there are, the more
time it takes to search.
• Press [ ] to cancel searching.
3 Select category using e/r/w/q
and press [MENU/SET].

• If [ FAVORITE] is set to [ON], you
can register the pictures as favourite
by pressing r.
• When one of the following operations is
done, the category playback mode [
is cancelled.
– Changes the mode to other playback
mode or to recording mode
– Turns the camera off
