Overview

This unit is a Studio Handy Camera that supports the 1080i
format.
It uses a 2/3-type 2.2-megapixel IT-CCD pickup device
together with Panasonic's horizontal single-line readout
CCD and high-precision signal processing to achieve pixel
shifting and a dramatic reduction in moire within the band.
Panasonic's 16-bit A/D digital signal processing circuit
delivers the kind of multi-functionality and images with high
quality and high stability that digital processing alone can
provide.
Furthermore, use in conjunction with a Camera Control Unit
(AK-HCU355AE/ES; optional accessory) enables output
in the 1080/59.94i, 1080/50i, 1080/29.97PsF, 1080/25PsF,
1080/23.98PsF, 480/59.94i, and 576/50i formats.
