Perform steps 1 to and lift the battery, and then remove it.
1. Disconnect the power cord from the trimmer.
2. Remove the blade from the trimmer. Remove the screws (a).
3. Remove the body cover (housing).
. Remove the battery from the chassis.

Do not attempt to replace the battery for the purpose of reusing the
trimmer. This could result in the risk of fire or electric shock.
