SET MODE
D D Weather alert
A NOAA broadcast station transmits a weather alert tone be-
fore important weather information.
When "O O N N " is selected, the previously selected (used) weather
channel is checked any time during standby or while scanning.
When "O O N N w w i i t t h h W W X X S S C C A A N N " is selected, the weather chan-
nels are checked in sequence during standby or while scan-
ning.
The "W W X X A A L L E E R R T T " indicator blinks until the transceiver is op-
erated after the transceiver detects the alert.
• "W W X X A A L L E E R R T T " appears instead of "W W X X " indication when the function
is set ON.
