Have all parts been inspected for damage due to shipping?
Has a suitable location for the indoor and outdoor units been selected?
Have electrical power connections been made according to National Electric Codes,
Canadian Electrical Code C22.2, Part 1 and /or local or city codes?
Has the gas piping been routed and connected to the outdoor unit in accordance with
the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1 or CAN/CGA-B149.1 Natural Gas Installation
Code?
Have proper size and length refrigerant lines been routed and connected to the indoor
and outdoor units?
Have refrigerant lines been checked for leaks?
Has the electrical control wiring been connected to the indoor and outdoor units in
accordance with the wiring diagram enclosed?
Has the refrigerant system been properly evacuated and charged?
Have the engine exhaust pipe and vent hood been properly installed?
Have the engine shipping brackets and the tubing support bracket been removed from
inside the outdoor unit?
Has the vent cap on the overflow tank located in the outdoor unit been removed?
Have the shipping brackets been removed from the outside of the outdoor unit (top &
bottom)?
Have the refrigerant valves been opened?
Has the inlet gas pressure to the outdoor unit been measured and verified to be between
6"-11" W.C.?
Has the unit been powered up correctly?
