► The Gateway can be operated safely and normally only if installed and used in accordance with this manual (see IEC 62109-5.3.3). To mount the Gateway to the wall. Mounting bracket is in the box; screws are not. Use screws tapping screws appropriate for the type of wall. Communication options The Gateway is used for two tasks: For both tasks, you need a PC with an internet browser. Setting up the Gateway FIRST POWER UP - CHOOSING CONNECTION TYPE After powering up the Gateway for the fi rst time, you have to choose the connection type: ● Wi-Fi device ● Ethernet device See section 6 “Setting up communication” for explanation. - Page 9 Type in the network key of your router and click on OK button. → When the network key was correct, after a few seconds a new IP address and the letters “DHCP” appear on the display of your Gateway. How the IP address looks like, depends on your router.
- Page 10 Setting up and Starting the Micro Inverters On the local website, click on Grid Settings. In the Country Set dropdown list, select your country/grid. When done, click on the Submit button. Click on Power Limitation. If your grid operator requires you to set a power limita- tion or power factor, you can change the default settings.
