Installing the Battery

To install the battery:
1. Align the gold contacts of the battery
with the contacts in the battery
compartment at the bottom of the
phone (1).
2. Press the battery down until it clicks
into place (2).

Replacing the Battery Cover

To replace the battery cover:
With the battery in position, place the
cover back on the phone (1) and slide it
in until it clicks (2).
Note: Make sure the battery is properly
installed before switching on the phone.

Charging the Battery

Your phone is powered by a rechargeable
Li-ion battery. Use the Travel Charger to
charge the battery. Use only Samsung-
approved batteries and chargers.
Note: You must fully charge the battery before
using your phone for the first time. A
discharged battery recharges fully in
approximately 4 hours.
Although you can use the phone while the
battery is charging, doing so requires
additional charging time.
