Contacts

Store contact information for your friends, family, and
colleagues to quickly access information or to send a
message.
Note: When storing a Contacts entry into your SIM card, note
that only the name, phone number, group, and slot
location are initially offered as fields (some SIM cards
may allow an address as well). Although you may add
additional fields to a SIM entry; if you move that same
SIM card to another model phone, it is possible that only
the basic information will transfer.
To access Contacts:
From a Home screen, touch
Contacts.

Creating Contacts
Use the following procedure to add a new contact.
1. From a Home screen, touch

The Save contact to pop-up displays.
2. Touch Phone, SIM, or an account name.

Touch Add new account to add a different account. For
more information, refer to "Setting Up Your Accounts"
on page 59.
3. Touch the Contact photo to set up a photo to identify
the contact. Options are:
• Remove: Delete a previously assigned image.
• Image: Use a previously stored image.
• Take picture: Use the camera to take a new picture and assign
it to this entry.
• Pictures by people: Retrieve a previously stored tagged picture
from your Gallery and assign it to this entry. Touch an image to
assign the image to the contact, then touch Done.
