1. Speaker: Used to hear when the Speakerphone is
turned on.
2. Flash: Provides adequate light when taking pictures in
dark places.

or other optional accessories such as a USB/data cable
or a hands-free headset for convenient, hands-free
conversations.

Home Screen
The Home screen is the starting point for using your device.
Note: Unless stated otherwise, instructions in this user guide
start with the device unlocked, at the Home screen.
1. Notification Icons: Presents icons to show notifications
from the system or from an application. Touch a
Notification Icon to display more detail. For a list of
icons, see "Notification Icons" on page 28.
2. Widgets: Applications that run on the Home screen.
Some widgets are found on the Home screen by
default. For more information, refer to "Widgets" on
page 31.
3. Home screen: The starting point for using your device.
Place shortcuts, widgets, and other items to customize
your device to your needs.
