    Your Kenwood Food Processor Your new Kenwood Food Processor will make your favourite dishes, simply and quickly. To gain maximum benefit from your processor, keep it ready for use on a convenient worktop for whenever you need it.   • Page 4 Attachments Available for your Kenwood Food Processor Shown below is the complete range of attachments available for your Kenwood Food Processor. Some of these will be included with your Food Processor and to check what attachments you should have, please refer to the back of the instruction leaflet where they are shown in pictorial form.
  • Page 5 Using Your Kenwood Food Processor Assembling the Processor Bowl and Lid Place the clear plastic bowl over the processor drive, positioning the handle towards the back of the appliance(fig 1 ). Lower the bowl onto the power unit and turn in a clockwise direction so that it locks firmly into place.

    Using the Attachments Steel Blade, Dough Tool and Paddle Egg Whisk Lock the bowl onto the food processor. Place the attachment over the food processor drive and carefully turn until it drops all the way down (fig 7). The tool must be completely down as far as it will go before you proceed. Place the ingredients into the processor bowl.
  • Page 7 Slicing, Shredding and Chipping Plates Use the shredding plates for cheese, carrot, potatoes and foods of a similar texture. Use the slicing plates for potato, carrot, cabbage, cucumber, courgette, beetroot, onion and apples. The extra coarse shredding plate is suitable for cheese and carrot when a very coarse shred is required. The standard chipper plate is suitable for potatoes which can then be fried to produce slim french fries, or for other fruit and vegetables including, swede, apple, pear and cucumber suitable for casseroles and crudities for dips.

    Centrifugal Juicer The centrifugal juicer if supplied, is suitable for juicing firm fruit and vegetables such as carrots and apples. Little preparation of these foods is necessary and any combination of fruit and vegetables can be used to produce a healthy and flavoursome drink. Fit the strainer basket into the inner bowl ensuring that the tabs on the strainer basket fit into the slots in the inner bowl.

    Citrus Juicer The citrus juicer if supplied, can be used to juice citrus fruits including oranges, limes, lemons and grapefruits for drinks and for use in puddings, cakes etc. With the processor bowl in position, attach the citrus juice strainer by placing over the bowl and turning clockwise until the fin on the strainer aligns with the mark on the processor body (fig.16).
