1. Raise the machine
Note: The cutting height settings are 25 mm (1 inch); 35 mm
(1-3/8 inches); 44 mm (1-3/4 inches); 54 mm (2-1/8 inches);
64 mm (2-1/2 inches); 73 mm (2-7/8 inches); 83 mm (3-1/4
inches); 92 mm (3-5/8 inches); and 102 mm (4 inches).

Starting the Engine

1. If the ignition switch on your machine
toggle switch (with both an "I" and a "Stop"), push the
switch to the ("I") position. Otherwise, go to step 2.

Using the Self-Propel Drive

To operate the self-propel drive, simply walk with your hands
on the upper handle and your elbows at your sides, and the
machine will automatically keep pace with you

self-propelling, stop walking, hold your hands in place, and
allow the machine to roll a couple of inches/centimeters
forward to disengage the wheel drive. You can also
try reaching just under the personal pace handle to the
metal handle and push the machine forward a couple
of inches/centimeters. If the machine still does not roll
backward easily, contact an Authorized Service Dealer.
