Scanner unit and its control circuit operation check

1. Execute this simulation to detect the mirror and the lens home positions.

2. Press the COPY key, and the machine will scan at the speed corresponding to the currently set magnification
ratio.
The magnification ratio can be voluntarily set with the magnification ratio select key and the zoom key.

ON/OFF state of the sensors and detectors in the optical unit can be monitored with the operation panel lamps.

The lens unit moves continuously to the following positions of magnification ratios and stops at each position for
0.5sec.

Every time when the COPY key is pressed, half of the display lamps on the operation panel light up alternatively.

The heater lamp repeats ON (500ms) and OFF (500ms) 5 times.
Copy lamp and the control circuit operation check
(Operation/procedure)
The copy lamp lights up for 5 sec.
Discharge lamp and the control circuit operation check
(Operation/procedure)
The discharge lamp lights up for 30 sec.
Blank lamp and the control circuit operation check
(Operation/procedure)
The blank lamps light up from the outside in sequence and all the lamps light up for 10 sec.
Developing bias voltage check
(Operation/procedure)
The developing bias voltage is outputted for 30 sec.
Check that the output is –150±10V. If not, adjust.
Main charger, transfer charger voltage check (Manual copy mode)
(Operation/procedure)
The main charger and the transfer charger unit are turned on for 30 sec in the manual copy mode.
Check that the output is –650±13V. If not, adjust.
