Changing the Compression Ratio

(Image Quality)

Choose from two compression ratios, as follows:
For guidelines on how many shots at each compression ratio can fit on a
memory card, see "Specifications" (p. 32).

Changing the IS Mode Settings

Configure the setting.
Press the m button, choose
and choose the desired option (p. 41).
The option you configured is now displayed.
Still Images
Access the setting screen.
Press the n button, choose [IS Settings]
on the 4 tab, and then press the m button
(p. 42).
Configure the setting.
Choose [IS Mode], and then choose the
desired option (p. 42).
Optimal image stabilization for the
Continuous
shooting conditions is automatically
applied (Intelligent IS) (p. 53).
Shoot
Image stabilization is active only at the
Only*
moment of shooting.
Off
Deactivates image stabilization.
* The setting is changed to [Continuous] for movie
recording.
Still Images
