Cautions:
• Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of
batteries (standard, alkaline, and nickel-cadmium), or
rechargeable batteries of different capacities in the
SCP-84.
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type.
Follow these steps to install batteries.
1. Press down on the battery compartment cover and
slide it in the direction of the arrow to remove it.
2. Install the batteries over the ribbon inside the com-
partment as indicated by the positive (+) polarity sym-
bols marked inside.
3. Replace the cover.
