    Introduction Welcome to the line of D-Link® Fuzion™ Broadband Aggregation Routers. Fuzion powered routers provide downstream and upstream speed aggregation, as well as resiliency via failover when connected to two to four broadband lines. One router is required for each broadband line.

  • Page 4 Registering Your Fuzion Router Online Step 1: Before you can use the DIR-605 router, you must register it online through the Fuzion™ Portal. Open a web browser and go to https://fuzion.dlink.com. New Customer: If you don’t have an existing Fuzion™ account, create one by clicking Register.
  • Page 5 Step 2: Once you successfully log in to your router, click Add New Router and select the number of routers to add. Step 3: Enter the MAC address and PIN code for each of the routers you want to register. The MAC and PIN are located on the label on the bottom of the router.
  • Page 6 If your ISP Modem/Gateway automatically assigns IP addresses (DHCP service), connect the Fuzion™ Router directly to the Modem/Gateway. Step A: Insert one end of an Ethernet cable into the WAN port on DIR-605 rear panel. Step B: Insert the cable’s other end into the LAN Port of your existing Modem/ Gateway with Internet connectivity.

DIR-605 Computer Step B: Launch a web browser and type the IP address of the Fuzion™ Router (http://192.168.3.17) Step C: Once you enter the IP address, the login screen will appear.
  • Page 8 Step D: Once logged in, you will be able to change the Fuzion™ Router’s WAN (Internet) Interface’s configuration to match what your ISP has provided as the required connection specific setting. Step E: Click Save Settings to activate your changes. No additional configuration is required.
  • Page 9: Connecting To Your Network

    WAN/Internet cable connections are changed to allow the ISP connectivity to properly initialize. This is best done after the provisioning process has completed and the DIR-605 has rebooted a couple times as part of the provisioning phase.
