Brakes

Adjusting handbrake
lever
Changing the position of
the brake-fluid reservoir
can allow air to penetrate the
brake system.
Do not reposition the handle-
bar controls on the handle-
bars or the handlebars in their
mounts.
Attempting to adjust the
brake lever while riding
the motorcycle can lead to
accidents.
Adjust the brake lever only
when the motorcycle is sta-
tionary.

position 1:

position 4:
Maximum span

Handlebars

Adjusting handlebars
Loosen screws 1 as far as
possible.
While sitting on the motor-
cycle, pull in the handlebars
and push upward or down-
ward into the desired posi-
tion.
Ensure exact engagement
between handlebars and
handlebar mount.
Tighten the screws 1 with
torque.
