The handlebar grips can be
heated at two different levels.
The heated hand grips option
can only be activated when
the engine is running. With
the OE onboard computer,
the heating output of the first
level is adapted to the outside
temperature measured by the
temperature sensor.
The increase in power
consumption caused by
the heated hand grips can

drain the battery if you are
riding at low engine speeds.
If the battery is inadequate-
ly charged, the heated hand
grips are switched off to en-
sure starting capability.
