To switch from LOCKED to UNLOCKED, assign to
the "nn" parameter a value equal to the "n1"
parameter setting. To switch from UNLOCKED to
LOCKED, assign to the "nn" parameter any number
other than the n1 parameter setting.
When the device is in remote mode (the serial link
controls the device) no parameters can be modified.
