Recording Still Images on a Memory
Card
You can record still images with the camcorder or record as still images scenes from a
video recording on the tape or from an external video signal from the DV terminal
(
only: also from the AV terminal). You can also record a still image on the
memory card while you record a movie on the tape.

set to allow recording.
