MacrolS& Super Macro (Close-up)
Use this mode to take close-up shots.
Available Shooting modes:

to select Macro mode.
The Macro mode setting changes each time you press the
~ (~).

or $& appears on the
screen indicating that you
can take close-up shots.

CAUTION
• When Super Macro is set, focal length is fixed to 60 mm
(35 mm camera equivalent). Zoom function is not
available.
• When Super Macro is set, flash cannot be used.

MEMO
• Use a tripod to prevent camera shake in Macro mode.
• Any of the following cancels Macro mode:
- Changing the Mode dial to
SP1 , SP2
or

mode
- Turning the camera off
• If the flash is too bright, use flash brightness adjustment
(-p.8?).
• Even if
[EI
MULTI] (-p.85) in the [BJAF MODE] is set,
the camera focuses near the center of the screen.
• AF-assist may not function correctly if the camera is up
close to the subject, such as in macro-mode.
