• After use
Turn off the power and fit the lens cap on the lens.
If you are not going to use the camera for a long time, remove the batteries.
• Cleaning the camera

Turn off the camera, Ir.-_'P.24
Remove the batteries, I_%'P.18 (If you are using an AC
adapter, unplug the AC adapter from the camera first
before removing the plug from the AC outlet.)
Exterior:
--> Wipe gently with a soft ctoth If the camera is very dirty, soak the cloth
in mitd soapy water and wring well Wipe the camera with the damp
cloth and then dry it with a dry cIoth ft you have used the camera at
the beach, use a cloth soaked in ctean water and weIl wrung.
Monitor and viewfinder:
--> Wipe gently with a soft cloth
Lens:
--> Blow dust off the lens with a commercially available btower, then
wipe gently with a lens cIeaning paper
Card:
--> Wipe gently with a soft, dry ctoth

• Do not use strong sotvents such as benzene or alcohot, or
chemically treated cloth.
Note • Cleaning shoutd be done only after the batteries have been
removed or the AC adapter has been disconnected
• Motd may form on the lens surface if the lens is teft dirty
