SETTING THE MODE DIAL

Set the Mode dial to the "P", "A" or "S" Record modes.
P (Program)
Auto setting.
A (Aperture priority)
Select the aperture, and the best shutter speed is
determined automatically.
S (Shutter priority)
Select the shutter speed, and the best aperture is
determined automatically.

When "S" or "A" is selected, the LCD monitor turns on
automatically. In the "S" mode, you can select between
1/2 sec. (different when the flash is used) and 1/800 sec.
With the "A" mode, you can select between F2.0 and F11
with Wide-angle shooting and between F2.8 and F11 with
Telephoto shooting by pressing the top/bottom arrows on
the Jog dial.
If the proper exposure cannot be attained, the aperture,
shutter speed and exposure compensation indicators on
the LCD monitor will blink in red.
