Turning Bluetooth On or Off

From the Home screen, sweep your finger downward
to display Notifications, then, if Bluetooth is not already
on, tap the Bluetooth quick setting to turn Bluetooth on.

available devices.
Tip: You can also turn Bluetooth On or Off on Notifications.
From almost any unlocked screen, sweep your finger
down from the Status bar to display Notifications.
Pairing and connecting with a Bluetooth Device
To exchange information between your phone and another
Bluetooth device, search for a device, pair with it, and
connect with it.
In the future, after pairing, your phone and the target device
will recognize and connect with each other and exchange
information without entering a passcode or PIN.

Note: When connected, the

and Notifications displays the connection request.
1. Turn Bluetooth On.
2. Activate the target device's discoverable mode.
3. Tap Scan.
4. From the list of scanned devices, tap the target device.
• If the target device requires a PIN, enter a PIN for the target
device and tap OK.
When prompted, enter the PIN on the target device, then follow
the prompts to complete the connection.
• If the device allows automatic or smart pairing, your phone will
attempt to pair and connect with the device automatically.
