RESIZING

You can change the size of a selected image to 640 × 480 or 320 × 240 and
save it separately. Use this function when you want to reduce the image
data volume, for example: when you send an e-mail with an image attached.

Close the lens barrier and

• Movies or images edited on a PC can not be processed using
the resizing function.
Caution
• If the selected image size is 640 × 480 or less, you can not
select [640 × 480] in the menu.
• If the selected image size is 320 × 240 or the image is rotated,
you can not select [
• This function is not available if you are using a SmartMedia
card with a write protect seal attached.
• Resized images may become grainy.
