Choose a shooting mode according to the
type of subject (pg. 28).
Turn Intelligent Face Detection and red-eye
removal on or off (pg. 18).
Adjust ISO sensitivity (pg. 57). Choose higher
values when the subject is poorly lit.
Choose image size and quality (pg. 58).
Adjust exposure for bright, dark, or high-
contrast scenes (pg. 59).
Adjust color for diff erent light sources (pg. 60).
Shoot a series of pictures (pg. 61).
Perform basic camera setup such as choosing
a language and setting the time and date (pg.
