Perform the following steps before any troubleshooting

Turn the camera off, and remove the battery. After approx. one minute. insert the battery again, and turn the camera on .

Inserting the Batteries
The camera takes two
AA
alkaline
(LR6)
batteries (supplied)
or
two
AA
rechargeable Ni-MH batteries
(soid separately). Insert the batteries in the camera as described below.

Open the battery-chamber cover.

Be sure the camera is off before opening the battery-chamber cover.

Insert the batteries.
Insert the batteries in the orientation shown by the

and
"8"
marks inside
the battery chamber.

Close the battery-chamber cover.
~ Inserting a Memory Card
Insert the memory card.
Holding the memory card in the orientation shown below, slide it all the way in.

Open the battery-chamber cover.

Be sure card is in correct orientation; do not insert at an angle or use force.

Close the battery-chamber cover.
-8 Removing Memory Cards
Be sure the camera is off before opening the battery-chamber cover. Press the card in and
then release it slowly. The card can now be
removed
by hand

The memory card may spring out if you remove your finger immediately after pushing
