6.0 FINISHING

THE FRONT OF THE APPLIANCE MUST BE FINISHED WITH ANY NON-COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS
SUCH AS BRICK, MARBLE, GRANITE, ETC., PROVIDED THAT THESE MATERIALS DO NOT GO
DO NOT STRIKE, SLAM OR SCRATCH GLASS. DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE WITH GLASS
FACING AND/OR FINISHING MATERIAL MUST NEVER OVERHANG INTO THE APPLIANCE OPENING.
6.1

DOOR CLOSING AND OPENING

Open the valve control door. Hook the top and bottom door latches, located
at the right side of the door into the corresponding slots in the door.
The door latch holes are elongated for door levelling. To level the door, it
may need to be lifted up at the right side before latching to ensure the door
is level.
6.2

LOG SHIPPING BRACKET

Before installing the logs, you must fi rst remove the log ship-
ping bracket. Loosen the securing screw indicated. Slide the
bracket to the right and lift up to remove.
6.3

DECORATIVE PANELS

This appliance does not include decorative brick panels, however, panels are required.
Panel kits are sold separately. Consult your local authorized dealer / distributor. See "REPLACEMENT PARTS
- ACCESSORIES" section.
6.4

CHARCOAL STRIPS

The charcoal strips have been shipped in place. Protective foam must be removed before operation.
