Connecting to Your MiFi M100
Now you can connect one or more devices to your MiFi M100 using Wi-Fi. Your computer, tablet,
or other devices must have Wi-Fi capability and Internet browser software. The MiFi M100 is
compatible with all major operating systems, and works with the latest version of browsers,
including Android™, Chrome™, Firefox®, Internet Explorer®, Safari™ and Mobile Safari™.
Your MiFi M100 SSID and Wi-Fi Network password are printed on a sticker on the inside of the
battery case. Before you connect to your MiFi M100 for the first time, remove the battery cover and
make note of the SSID and password on the sticker. (See

Charging the Battery
To connect to your MiFi M100:
Turn on your Wi-Fi enabled device and turn on your MiFi M100 using the power button. The
MiFi M100 LEDs will light up. The MiFi M100 broadcasts its own Wi-Fi name, or SSID.
Open the Wi-Fi application or controls on the computer or Wi-Fi enabled device that you
want to connect to your MiFi M100 and find the Wi-Fi name (SSID).

The steps to connect to a Wi-Fi network vary depending on your operating system and whether
you use the native application or third-party software. Generally, you select an icon in the Windows
notification area where you can select View Available Wireless Networks, or select the Airport
icon in the menu bar on a Mac. If you are unfamiliar with wireless networking on your computer,
consult the computer help system.
When prompted, enter your Wi-Fi Network password. Your Wi-Fi enabled device is now
connected to the Internet.
