8. Installation

Only for authorised personnel!
Warning: Wrong connection can cause damage to the
thermostat. We cannot be held responsible for any
damage
caused
improper handling of the controller!
− Before working at the controller switch off current!
− Connection and service may only be done by authorised
personnel.
− Installation has to be made in accordance with the enclosed
elementary circuit diagram.
− The thermostat has only been designed for connection to lines laid
fixed in dry closed rooms.
− When installing the thermostat please ensure that lines carrying
mains voltage, e.g. mains input and lines for relay connection, do
not touch lines with low voltage, such as sensor lines (minimum
distance 4 mm when there are base insulated conductors.
− Moreover, please ensure sufficient protection against unaided
detachment of the conductors connected (in accordance with EN
60730, part 1). This may be done by lacing the lines..
− Please follow VDE 0100 and EN 60730, part 1 standards as well
as the rules of your local electricity boards.
If the controller does not work please check at first whether
connection has been effected properly and if voltage is supplied.

9. Mounting

The thermostat is suitable for many European standard flush
boxes. It is also suitable for normal wall mounting with surface
cable entry.
In case of surface wall mounting please ensure that only that part
is taken off the enclosure's bottom which is provided for that
purpose. If you cut off the complete land the enclosure might not
close correctly.
Please mount the thermostat correctly so that the average room
temperature can be measured. (Avoid air inlet or installation near
windows and doors). The thermostat should be placed in inner
walls in an approximate height of 1.5 m.
