Prepare the sprayer for end-of-season storage by running RV antifreeze through the system.
This will keep internal parts lubricated, protect against corrosion, and keep the unit from freezing.
The sprayer will be damaged if it freezes.
Protect the sprayer from freezing during storage by following the instructions
below.
Preparing for storage:
1. Add antifreeze
2. Spray briefly
Removing from storage:
1. Drain
2. Flush with water
3. Disposal
Storage
CAUTION
Pour 1 gallon of RV antifreeze into the tank.
Note: RV antifreeze is non-toxic and biodegradable and generally safer for
the environment than automotive antifreeze.
T urn on the pump motor and squeeze the gun trigger briefly until fluid
sprays.
Drain the antifreeze left in the tank through the tank drain hole into a
suitable container.
Fill the tank with fresh water and run through the system. Operate the
spray gun until the system is completely flushed. Be sure to set up
containers to capture the antifreeze flush water.
Dispose of the antifreeze and flush water properly.
