Additional configuration using the
System Settings menu
This chapter describes additional configuration options found on the System
Settings menu, which have not been described elsewhere in this document.
Specifically, the functions used to modify Date and Time, the system update
functionality contained in the Technical Features configuration option, and
the Reset function.

Modifying the Date and Time

Use the Date and Time option on the System Settings configuration
menu to set the system Date and Time on the IP Phone 1535. It is NOT
required that you log in using the Admin Mode to access the Date and Time
configuration option.

Accessing and activating the Reset function

The IP Phone 1535 incorporates two databases in which local data
parameters are stored. The databases serve two basic functions:

Action
From Main Menu, select Settings > System Settings > Date and
Time, and press OK.
Enter the date (YYYY/MM/DD), and select OK.
Enter the time (HH:MM), and select OK.
Phonebook: Stores information related to call activity, such as phone
numbers and blocked call programming.
Settings: Saves any system configuration entries made on the IP
Phone 1535.
