Operating the appliance safely at 12 Vg
NOTICE!
A
 The cable between the battery and the cooling device must be
protected by a fuse with a maximum rating of 15 A.
 Only select 12 Vg operation (battery mode) if you are using a
battery monitor or if the alternator in your vehicle provides suffi-
cient voltage.
 Only use cables with an appropriate cross section.

Operating the appliance safely at 230 Vw
NOTICE!
A
 Only use the cable supplied to connect the appliance to the AC
mains.
 Never pull the plug out of the socket by the cable.
 If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced to prevent possible
electrical hazards. Only replace a damaged cable with one of
the same type and specifications.
 Before starting the appliance, ensure that the power supply line
and the plug are dry.
 Check that the voltage specification on the type plate is the
same as that of the power supply.

Operating the appliance safely with gas
NOTICE!
A
 Never use a naked flame to check for leaks.
 Only use propane or butane gas (not natural gas).
 Always operate the appliance at the pressure shown on the
type plate. Use a DIN-DVGW-approved pressure regulator with
a fixed setting in accordance with DIN EN 12864.
 Never store liquid gas cylinders where there is poor ventilation
or below ground level (funnel-shaped holes in the ground).
 Keep liquid gas cylinders away from direct sunlight. The temper-
ature may not exceed 50 °C.
 The appliance may not be operated with gas on ferries.
