Operating instructions

Before Use

Avoid unintentional starting of the machine.
During assembly and for all work on the
machine, the power plug must not be con-
nected to the mains supply.
To ensure safe handling, the feet of the base
plate 9 must be placed on a suitable platform
(e.g. workbench, even floor, etc.).

Transport Safety

Before all work on the machine, pull the
power plug.
The transport safety 6 makes possible easy
handling of the machine when transporting to
the various working locations.
Securing the Machine (Transport Position)
Swing the tool arm 3 with the handle 1 down-
ward to the stop. Press in the transport safety
6 and release the handle.
Releasing the Machine (Working Position)
Press the tool arm 3 with the handle 1 of the
machine somewhat downward to relieve the load
on the transport safety. Pull the transport safety
6 outward and guide the tool arm slowly upward.
Take care while working that the transport
safety is not pressed in, otherwise the tool arm
cannot be swung down to the desired depth.
