7.7.1 CONTROL NIVEL ACEITE
En caso de que note o en caso de que alguien se queje
de que la horquilla se hunda excesivamente, controle el
nivel aceite de las botellas.
Desmonte el escudo delantero interior, véase 7.1.4
(DESMONTAJE ESCUDO DELANTERO INTERIOR).

Para facilitar la salida de los dos tapones de
estanqueidad (3) es necesario extraerlos con-
temporáneamente.
Quite el tapón de goma (1).
Quite el anillo elástico de retención (2).
Bombee despacio la horquilla hasta que se salgan los
dos tapones de estanqueidad (3) junto con los anillos
"GACO" tipo junta tórica (4).

Controle la integridad de los anillos "GACO"
tipo junta tórica, si acaso sustitúyalos.

Controle la posición del muelle (5) (espiras
con diámetro inferior y más acercadas en la
parte superior).

El muelle está introducido en el aceite.
Al extraerlo evite que gotee.
Extraiga el muelle (5).
Lleve hasta el tope la carrera de la horquilla, introduz-
ca una barra calibrada (metro) en una de las dos bote-
llas y compruebe que queden 80 mm de aire desde el
borde superior de la varilla.
Si es necesario restaure el nivel aceite horquilla, véa-
se 1.7 (TABLA LUBRICANTES).
Repita estas dos operaciones para la segunda varilla.

7.7.1 CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL
If the fork stroke is excessive, it is necessary to check the
fork oil level.
Remove the front inner shield, see 7.1.4 (REMOVING
THE FRONT INNER SHIELD).

To facilitate the extraction of the two seal
plugs (3), it is necessary to remove both of
them at the same time.
Remove the rubber plug (1).
Remove the snap ring (2).
Push the fork slowly downwards until the two seal
plugs (3) come out together with the "GACO" O-rings
(4).

Check the integrity of the"GACO" O-rings and
if necessary change them.

Check the position of the spring (5) (coils with
shorter diameter and closer to one another in
the upper part).

The spring is dipped in the oil.
Avoid dripping oil during the extraction.
Withdraw the spring (5).
Bring the fork to the end-of-stroke, insert a calibrated
dipstick (meter) in one of the two tubes and make sure
that the distance between the upper edge of the tube
and the oil level is 80 mm.
Top up if necessary, see 1.7 (LUBRICANT CHART).
Repeat the last two operations for the second tube.
