Test 2
Thermistor Test --- Measure with Power Off
•Measure resistance of all wires. Resistance should be < 0 Ω.
•Check all thermistor harness connectors for corrosion, loose/bent pins,
broken wires, etc.
•Check all harness wires for cuts, or broken wires.

Disconnect the NA6
connector from the main
PCB.
Measure the resistance
between the NA6-6 (GN) pin
and a chassis ground screw.
Is the resistance <1 Ω ?
Measure the resistance between
the NA6-1 (RD) and NA6-4 (BL).
Does the resistance measured
match the temperature of the
thermistor in the chart? (Use
room temperature unless the
thermistor is warm from running
the dryer.)
Disconnect the thermistor
from the harness connector
and measure the resistance
of the thermistor. Does the
resistance measured match
the temperature of the
thermistor in the chart? (Use
room temperature unless the
thermistor is warm from
running the dryer.)
