5.5.1 Manual Reset Service Codes

Code Lockout
E 00 False flame.
E 02 Flame failure.
E 03 Gas Valve Relay Board error. Electrical connection from control to GVRB open.
E 04 General lockout.
E 08 Air pressure switch open.
E 12 Limit open.
E 18 Outlet high temp.
E 19 Inlet high temp.
E 25 Outlet temp rapid change.
E 28 No blower feedback.
E 29 Blower feedback will not zero. The blower will not go to zero speed even though it should be off.
E 31 Outlet sensor shorted.
E 32 Inlet sensor shorted.
E 33 DHW sensor shorted.
E 35 Flue sensor shorted.
E 36 Outlet sensor open.
E 37 Inlet sensor open.
E 38 DHW sensor open.
E 40 Flue sensor open.
E 52 High flue temp.

A flame signal is present when it shouldn't be.
The burner did not light on startup, or loss of flame during run or high temp limit tripped.
The power was lost after a lockout. The control loses the description of the lockout on
power loss.
The air pressure switch is open. Insufficient air flow.
High & Low Gas Pressure, Low water cut off(s). Optional External limit
The outlet water temperature has exceeded the internal high temperature setting.
The inlet water temperature has exceeded the internal high temperature setting.
The outlet water temperature is increasing too fast. Indicates low flow condition.
The blower should be running but it is not, or the feedback signal has been interrupted.
The outlet temperature sensor is short circuited.
The inlet temperature sensor is short circuited.
The Domestic Hot Water temperature sensor is short circuited.
The flue gas temperature sensor is short circuited.
The outlet temperature sensor is indicating an open circuit.
The inlet temperature sensor is indicating an open circuit.
The Domestic Hot Water sensor is indicating an open circuit.
The flue gas temperature sensor is indicating an open circuit.
The flue temperature has exceeded the maximum allowable setting.
