Illuminates when the engine is
running
Caution
Engine lubrication may be interrup-
ted. This may result in damage to the
engine and/or locking of the drive
wheels.
If the engine oil pressure warning lamp
comes on while driving, pull off the
road, stop the engine and check the oil
level.
Warning
When the engine is off, considerably
more force is needed to brake.
Do not remove key until vehicle has
come to a standstill, otherwise the
steering column lock could engage
unexpectedly.
Check oil level before seeking the
assistance of a CHEVROLET retailer.

Low Fuel Warning Light
illuminates yellow.
Illuminates when level in fuel tank is too low.
Caution
Do not let your vehicle run out of
fuel.This can damage the catalytic
converter.

High - Beam On Light
illuminates blue.
Illuminates when high beam is on and
during headlight flash.

Fog Lamp Indicator Light*
illuminates green.
Illuminates when the front fog lamps
are on.

Instruments and Controls
Door Ajar Light
illuminates red.
It illuminates when a door is open or not
securely latched. Before driving, check
that all doors are properly closed.
Electric Power Steering (EPS)
Indicator Light
illuminates yellow.
Illuminates with power steering
disabled.
Failure in the power steering system.
Consult your CHEVROLET retailer.
Illuminates after interruption of
power supply.
The steering angle sensor must be
calibrated to make the power steering
system operational again. For calibra-
tion turn the steering wheel from limit
position to limit position.
The control indicator goes out when the
power steering system is operational
again.
