•A virtual keyboard will be displayed, digit the
number and touch Enter.
If you want to use a number in your phone book
touch Edit Recipient.
Once the message has been sent, the Software will
go back to the map and SMS will be saved in the Sent
SMS folder.

2.8.4 Incoming SMS and Calls

If the phone is active the navigator will receive calls
and messages even during the navigation and will
notify the event with a pop up window.
Receiving a Call:
When you receive a Call, a window is displayed on
the map showing the caller number (and name if it
is saved in the phone book) you can decide whether

to take it or not or to mute the phone ring, touching
Accept / Refuse or the mute icon. If you accept the
Call, then it will be hands free. During the call, the
display shows the map and the phone icon changes
to the Call in progress status.
To end the call, touch the icon? To open the Call
menu, then touch End call.
During the call, it is also possible to mute the
microphone, by touching the Mute microphone
button in the Call menu, the button will then change
in Microphone Active. Touch it to activate the
microphone.
Receiving SMS:
When you receive an SMS, a warning is displayed on
the map and you can choose to open the SMS or to
read it later. In both cases, the SMS is saved in the
incoming SMS folder, so you can read it anytime.
