• The SEP-25, SEP-38W and SEP-20-60 eyepieces

are all equipped with a turn-slide type rubber
eyecup.
Eyeglass wearers should always turn the
rubber eyecup clockwise to use in the fully
retracted position.
For those who do not wear eyeglasses, turn the
rubber eyecup counterclockwise to use in the
fully extended position.

Positioning
• Find the target subject with your eyes, then position the objective lens toward it to look through the
eyepiece with one eye.
• When targeting the subject, the aiming line on the hood is useful to take an approximate sight.

Focusing
(Fig. 5)
• To focus, rotate the focusing knob on the
Fieldscope body.
Viewing distant subjects: Rotate the focusing
knob clockwise.
Viewing near subjects: Rotate the focusing
knob counterclockwise.

*When attaching the digital camera bracket for
digiscoping, make sure the eyepiece is fully retracted,
otherwise the eyepiece or camera may be damaged
due to incorrect connection or may become loose and
fall, resulting in possible injury.
If the orange line is visible, it is NOT retracted enough.
