Calibration

Before proper calibration can be performed, display should warm-up for a minimum of 30 minutes.
If trying to start calibration before the monitor is warmed-up, a warning will appear on the screen (Figure 1).

NOTE: Refer to the Key Map (Figure A) when changing settings during the calibration.
Self calibration and Copy calibration can only be performed using the X-Rite i1 display2 sensor.
During calibration activities and during normal operation, do not change the digital input.
Always use the SAME digital input.
NOTE: With no input signal on the screen, press LEFT and RIGHT button at the same time more than 3 seconds.
The CALIBRATION menu will appear.
Self Calibration
1. To show the CALIBRATION menu, plug-in the USB sensor to the sensor port (Figure 2) or select CALIBRATION in the
advanced menu (page 20).

Tilt the display panel approximately 5° backward and place the USB sensor in the center of the display panel (Figure 2).
NOTE: Place the USB sensor flat against the LCD to avoid external light contamination. DO NOT press the calibrator
against the display panel.
